JCS started as a group of parents to support school music, especially by adding tenors and basses, and now it exists as a separate choir of up to about 50 singers, including all voices (SATB), made up of parents, ex-parents, friends and people who live in the area - in short, anyone who enjoys singing! It is a very friendly group and welcomes all singers as a community choir. Although there are no auditions, we do expect people to be able to sing in tune. Taster visits are free so, if you're not sure whether you'd like it, you can come along and see how it feels!
