Ejected from my school choir for my raucous voice. I can make a lot of noise. I later learned to sing whilst my son was a choir boy at Tonbridge. I once lived next to a lovely church in Tudeley and Chaired its well known early music festival. Whilst there I was invited to join the Gaudete Ensemble. Before JCS I spent a decade singing in its sister choir at St Pauls called Colet Choral Society

I an amateur and have to work at learning the music, but really enjoy it. Outside the choir most of my singing is in church, including Christmas carols groups in the past.
Other life
I have joined the choir in 2016 and absolutely love this singing community. Being French it was enjoyable to help with pronunciations of French words, when we sang Bizet's Carmen in the past.

Singing in choirs since I was 6. Proudest choir moment - singing treble solo in the Allegri Miserere for Downing College Chapel Choir at university (top C!). Met my husband when I was lead singer in a covers band, in which he was the drummer. Favourite JCS experience - singing Verdi’s Requiem at the Royal Festival Hall. I just love singing!
